Machine Operator

Programmed Skilled workforce are currently sourcing an experienced food manufacturing machine operator to join their client site located in Clayton.

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking reliable and experienced Machine Operators to join their food manufacturing client located in Clayton. Positions are for an immediate start on day shift Monday-Sunday. Our client manufactures distributes spices, seasoning mixes, condiments, and other flavoured products for both consumers and the food industry.

Tasks of the role;

• Operate in an automated environment where goods are palletized onto pallets
• Start up and monitor production machines
• Oversee lines, troubleshoot issues and resolve errors
• Replenish the line with drums of plastic wrap which gets cut, molded and filled with yummy sauce
• Operate a walker stacker to bring in the sauce drums
• Lift the packaged sauce and empty into the production line
• Be able to work with a forklift operator entering in and out of the department
• Mixing and batching raw product
• Hours for the role are 6am-4pm Monday-Sunday availability
• Potential temp-perm opportunity

What we are looking for from you;

• Successful candidates must have years of food manufacturing machine operating experience
• Strong GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) knowledge
• Strong LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) knowledge
• Good understanding of numeracy and literacy
• Able to follow instructions
• Good understanding of SOP’s
• STRONG ability to operate and troubleshoot mechanical issues with production machinery
• Meet daily production requirements
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety
